Below is the the installation project in Stebbing Essex cm6 that we have completed.  A TV aerial and 60 cm dish was installed using a 36″ heavy duty k and k bracket.  It is connected to a 16 port Fracarro multiswitch that is designed to distribute the signals to several receivers. Multiswitches have several variations and it is dependent on the number of ports that you need. It can have as little as two (2) outputs or it could have more.

A TV aerial is a specifically designed antenna for over-the-air broadcast television signals.  The most common outdoor antennas are the yagi and log periodic.  TV aerials are often installed outdoors on the rooftop or the chimneys. However, there are some cases where they are installed indoors in the attic or in the loft. They can be mounted indoors if the signal within the area is strong enough. Otherwise, an outdoor aerial is always recommended.

Another type of aerial used is a satellite dish. It is a dish-shaped antenna designed to receive data transmissions or broadcasts from communication satellites. Although a bigger dish is great, a 60 cm satellite dish could work well in receiving signals. Freeview satellite signals for example are transmitted from the Optus D1 satellite and so we highly recommend that a 60 cm dish be installed in your area.
