When you think of satellites, your TV will likely be the first thing to spring to mind – but what if satellites could improve your internet connection, speed and privacy?
Coming soon to the UK, Amazon Leo has been deploying over 300 satellites, which will operate on a low orbit of the Earth, to deliver fast internet beyond what is imaginable now – beyond the reach of existing networks
Set to provide services to home, business and government services, Amazon Leo has a big key difference to other services – it’s designed to not only be used in place, but while you’re on the move. If you go on a trip, you can take it with you.
The tech bit
How fast will Amazon Leo internet be?
Not everyone’s internet needs are the same, so Amazon Leo has been developed with multiple antennas – providing multiple options:
Leo Nana – 7×7”, download speeds of up to 100 Mbps
Leo Pro – 11×11”, download speeds up to 400Mbps
Leo Ultra – enterprise-grade antenna delivering download speeds up to 1 gigabit per second (Gbps), uplink speeds up to 400 Mbps
It’s coming
Still in its readying stages, you can get on the waiting list now.
We can also help you to prepare your space to get ready for transformational internet connection, providing surveys to develop your ideal mounting and cable-route strategy, so you can get set up quickly when Amazon Leo becomes available here in the UK.
