Are you in need of TV installation services in Essex?
MediaComs can help. Our professional TV installers are Sky approved, RDI, CAI and CEDIA certified. We can provide you the services that you need and more.
We completed a wall mounting TV installation project in Witham Essex recently. Our customer required that his TV be mounted into the wall and hide the cables without too much disruption in the living room.
First of all we feed the cables through the walls extending the aerial, Sky, Telephone etc.
We then fixed the mounting bracket, feed the cables from the equipment which the customer wanted on the floor underneath the TV.
The TV was mounted, connected the equipment and fitted brush plates in order to cover the entry holes.
Last of all we put the furniture back in place and have one very happy customer.
Taking on a TV Installation Project
Mounting a TV can be an easy task. It just involves putting 4 bolts in the wall so it can hold the bracket. Then with the help of a friend you hang your TV onto that bracket and you’re done. It may sound simple but the task of finding the stud in your wall can already pose a challenge. Remember these when you locating them.
Make sure that your stud finders are calibrated. Let it read the material’s density which could take a few seconds. If you need to run it a few more times then do so. Do not drill holes right away.
Check for fire blocks because if there are fire blocks in between the stud bays, it could be harder to fish the wires down the wall.
Some seams can be mistaken for a stud, thus the need for stud finders to be calibrated. After the studs are marked and the hole drilled, you may want to use something like a screwdriver to poke the wall and ensure that you did mark a stud.
If things get too complicated for you, consider getting a professional local installation company like MediaComs to help you out with the project. Our years of experience will tell you that we haven’t encountered anything that we couldn’t handle.
