Have you ever thought about working on the TV installation project but never really started it?
Leave it to the professionals — MediaComs. We have professional installers who can securely install your plasma TV and keep the cables hidden from the view just like what we did in one of our projects in Ilford Essex. The Sony Plasma TV was wall mounted together with the Q Acoustic speakers.
Getting the Right TV
A lot of people get excited when they are about to purchase a new TV for their homes. And when you get to the store, you are presented with several different options — different brands and different sizes. However, a bigger television set is not always better. There are different conditions that you should consider.
Location. You need to know where you will be installing this TV set. Are you going to use it in the family room? bedroom? home cinema?
Room size. As soon as you have identified the location, the next thing you need to do is to measure. How big is the room? How far is the distance from where the TV will be mounted to where the guests or you will be sitting. The rule of thumb is, the distance (from the TV to the sitting area) should be three times the diagonal screen measurement of the TV. You don’t want the TV too big or you’ll be distracted by the pixels on the screen and you don’t want it to be too small either.
Understand your technology. LCDs, LEDs and Plasma TVs are different. If you will be using the set for a long time then LED TVs are your best bet because they consume less power. If the room is too bright despite using enough then you may want to get an LCD TV with matte screens.
Once you’ve find out what the appropriate TV size for your room then all that’s left is to go to the store and get your preferred brand of appliance and hire a professional installer to complete the tv installation.
