Types of TV Wall Bracket
There are different types of wall bracket and the tilt and swivel bracket that we used in wall-mounting the TV is just one of them. The type of wall bracket that you use depends on where you want your TVs to be mounted. Below are the most common:
Flat Wall Bracket is a type of bracket that holds your plasma TV flat against the wall giving you very little room for adjustment. This bracket is not recommended for TVs with rear protrusion.
Tilting Wall Bracket are somewhat similar to the flat bracket however, this will allow your TVs to be tilted up and down. This wall bracket can be used if you plan to mount your TV just right above the fireplace.
Ceiling Wall Brackets have articulating hinge that is connected to the mounting plate on the wall. This is used to mount movie projectors.
Under Cabinet Brackets are recommended if you are trying to save space because it will allow you to flip it down when you want to watch something on your TV and fold it up and hide away when the TV is not in use. However, this is only better suited for TVs with small screens.
Tilt and Swivel Wall Bracket is perhaps the most flexible because you are able to position your TV depending on which direction you want it to face. You can move it away from the wall and point it to the right or left. You can even tilt it up or down.
If you are unsure about which bracket to use, give us a call and let’s discuss what you want done and where you want your TVs wall mounted. We will ensure that the right wall bracket is used.
