3D Projection System
A 3D projection system is a system that allows you to present or project your content in a three dimensional image.
To get a three dimensional feel, two overlapping images are used so it gives the impression of depth. A special glass (3D eyeglasses) is used so that each eye will see a different image. This gives the illusion of depth therefore making it look like the image is extending towards the viewer. This is just one way of enhancing one’s viewing experience.

Anaglyph 3D.
A red and cyan glass is used in viewing images projected through an anaglyph 3D. It is inexpensive and there is no need for a new 3D projector or TV. One disadvantage is that the colors could appear a little off because each glasses has different colors.
Active Shutter 3D.
The glasses are made of glass that contains liquid crystal and polarising filter. The use of active shutter 3D can eliminate the problem of seeing two images at the same time.
Polarised 3D.
This type is used in cinemas and other high end application. Imax 3D uses linear polarisation and RealD uses a circular polarisation. You need to install and use expensive projectors so the entire system may be a little costly.
Interference Filter Technology 3D.
This is another technology that is being used in some cinemas. Made by Infitec and licensed by Dolby. Passive glasses are used and it eliminates the need for a silver screen unlike the polarised system.
