Mounting the TV on the wall is just one of the many ways of creatively displaying (or hiding) your television set although it might be quite challenging for some. The truth is, there are ways to position your TV so it blends in together with the other furnitures or decorations at home.
You can place your television on a bookshelf and surround it with books, vases or other sculptures. When it is surrounded with other items, the TV blends along with it.
Another option is to use an armoir with doors that you can close when the TV is not in use. Get one with holes in the back so the cords can go through. If there’s none then drilling a hole wouldn’t be that difficult. If you have kids around, make sure that the doors are easy to open and that the TV is safely secured in the armoir to prevent it from falling off.
Small TVs can be mounted under the cupboards found in the kitchen. The cool thing is that it can be flipped when not in use.
